The Office of the Victorian Minister for Mental Health, Lisa Neville, is currently undertaking a review of the Mental Health Act 1986. The process has included a wide range of consultation which HACSU has been actively involved in though submissions and discussions with the Minister. As part of this process, Ms Neville has now announced that she will be conducting further consultation and undertaking a draft exposure process. You can see the minister’s announcement here.
We welcome this move and look forward to the draft exposure process. HACSU will be engaging further with the minister regarding the further reviews and we encourage member’s to do the same. |
