RAS: HACSU secures solutions for RAS issues related to AKU’s
12 December 2011

HACSU has continued to meet with DHS management in relation to the dispute raised about the access levels of House Supervisors and Additional Kronos Users (AKU’s) that caused unreasonable workloads for House Supervisors.

Despite the DHS assertion that HACSU’s claims could not be rectified, in response to the inability to continue further rollout, the DHS was able to propose solutions to the majority of HACSU’s claims.

The DHS has agreed to the following:
•    House Supervisors will be able to make changes to their own schedule, with development of a practice instruction ;
•    An enhanced access profile for DDSO2/2A’s to enable all functions other than sign off and leave approval;
•    DDSO1 access to view timecards, with no access to leave balances or comments;
•    Exception reports and comment calls will cease in validation sites

Whilst these measure address many of the issues raised by members, the issue of houses without a level 2 still requires further discussion, as does workload issues and ongoing training for higher duties.

HACSU members should continue to remain vigilant in reporting all issues to the RAS hotline and to HACSU at angelal@hacsu.asn.au or 9340 4100.
